Sandra “Sandy” Barkeloo has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since 2008 working in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. She received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Goshen College. She also has a Legal Assisting Associates of Science degree, graduating with high honors and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
She started her career in criminal law at the State Attorney’s Office in Sarasota. She went on to become the first paralegal at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office before making a career switch to work in civil law. Her extensive experience includes criminal law, forfeitures, eviction, landlord-tenant law, foreclosures and guardianships. In the fall of 2017, Sandy became a member of the Paralegal Program Advisory Committee for State College of Florida. In her free time, Sandy enjoys spending time with her three daughters and her grandson, traveling, crafting, and reading.
