Sandra “Sandy” Barkeloo is a Florida Registered Paralegal since 2008 working in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. In Fall 2017, Sandy became a member of the Paralegal Program Advisory Committee for State College of Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science from Goshen College in Organizational Management and obtained her Legal Assisting Associates in Science where she graduated with high honors and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
She started her career in criminal law at the State Attorney’s Office in Sarasota, and went on to become the first paralegal at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office before making a career switch to work in civil law. Her experience includes criminal, forfeitures, eviction, landlord-tenant law, foreclosures and guardianships. In her free time, Sandy enjoys spending time with her three daughters, her grandson, traveling with her husband, crafting, and reading.
