Andrew Boyer practices in the areas of probate, guardianship, estate planning, VA benefits and public benefits planning.
Educational Experience: Mr. Boyer attended the University of South Florida in Tampa He was active in the Kiwanis Collegiate Organization and became USF Chapter President as well as a Florida division Lt. Governor. After he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, he attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida where he graduated in 2006 with the degree of Juris Doctor. While at Stetson, he was an honor roll student four straight semesters and received the distinguished honor of being awarded the “Best Appellate Brief Award.” He was also President of Stetson’s Elder Law Society and was active in researching consumer fraud perpetrated against the elderly.
Professional Organizations: Mr. Boyer serves on the board of the Manatee County Bar Association, Young Lawyer’s division, serves as Treasurer of the Manatee Aging Network, is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Sarasota County Bar Association, The Manatee County Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and a member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. Recently, Mr. Boyer successfully passed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and was added to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales as a non-practicing Solicitor. Mr. Boyer became an accredited attorney through the Department of Veterans Affairs in early 2011.
Volunteer Experience: Mr. Boyer is currently involved in the Justice Teaching Project. The Project is an initiative of Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Fred Lewis to educate K-12 students about the Florida Justice System and our Laws by pairing legal professionals with elementary, middle and high school classes. Mr. Boyer also participates in providing pro-bono legal representation services through local legal aid offices.
Personal Experience: Mr. Boyer enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter, traveling with his family and enjoying the outdoors. Andrew is the son of Edwin M. Boyer, Esq.
