Boyer & Boyer Fills Over 50 Shoe Boxes for Seniors

On November 30th, the attorneys and staff of Boyer & Boyer, P.A. got together for Shoe Boxes for Seniors, one of our favorite holiday traditions. Shoe Boxes for Seniors is an annual event facilitated by the Sarasota Herald Tribune that began in 2000 as a way to give back to needy children and seniors. Around the middle of November, the office began donating supplies and shoe boxes. The supplies ran the gamut from socks to crossword puzzles, and they were all packed inside shoe boxes wrapped in festive paper.

The entire office got together to enjoy lunch, wrap shoe boxes, and fill them to the brim with all kinds of goodies for seniors. Not only is it a way to come together and enjoy a Friday afternoon, it is a way to give back to our community during the holidays. What is the most wonderful time of the year for some, can be a very lonely time for others. We delivered over 50 boxes to the Herald Tribune, and we hope that we put over 50 smiles on seniors’ faces.
